PAW Installation

Post by Alexa »

Hi All,

I just finished installing Planning Analytics 2.0.5 on Multi Windows 2016 server machines.

I am currently having issues getting Workspace to start, when I try to access the workspace, I get the below message

"Planning Analytic Workspace is unavailable. Try again in a few minutes".

I have followed the steps mentioned by IBM Business Analytics Support and everything is installed as mentioned in their videos. Even reconfigured the default port for PAW to port 86 However, whenever I try to access the IP address of the server at port 86, I am getting

"Planning Analytic Workspace is unavailable. Try again in a few minutes".

my current setup is: 2 Windows 2016 Servers

Server A: components( TM1 Data Tier and Clients ( Architect, Performance Modeler )
Server B: TM1 App Tier, Docker, PAW

Security: TM1 ( all defaults...eventually would like to use CAM )

Has anybody come across this issue? would really appreciate any insight.

Also since TM1 App Tier and Data tiers are in separate machines, is there any configuration setting, i would need to perform to let App Tier know where the Data Tier is and vice versa ( earlier all my installations were single server...this is the first multiserver installation...hence this question)

Also forgot to mention.

When I try to launch the PAW admin tool and validate...everything validates fine and all the services seem to run and go to 0.00% as mentioned in the IBM support videos.

Other things I have performed to troubleshoot.

- Allowed port 80 and 86 thru the firewall ( added inbound rule)
- Launched the "Scripts/Launch.ps1" from the PowerShell...get the same error message when I try this method.

Heyy buddy. How did you resolve this issue? Only ask as I may be doing the upgrade to PAw and would like to know just incase I come across the same issue?

Thank you
