There is no concept of a column in TM1. If you mean dimension level security, then yes. Right click on }Dimensions object and choose Security.

I assume you have a view with one of your dimensions as the columns and you want to apply security on a read/write/dont see basis to the elements (columns) you see in that dimension.
If sonyou are looking for element security, you can right click on the dimension in question and select the element security option - it will bring up a gui where you can set it accordingly. Once this is done it will also create a control cube called }elementsecurity_<yourdimname>... this is normally a bit easier to use to set your security, you just need to remember to right click on the server and refresh security after making changes (or use a TI.)
Also worth noting that if you have cell security in place that will also be taking effect.
