"Session timed out"

Post by dharav »

I want to know, what could be the fundamental reason for the appearance of "session time out" dialogue box in the contributor. They have to reopen the session again.

We have implemented CAM Security (BI).

What could be the solution? any one encounter this issue in 10.2?

Still looking to resolve the issue..........................

It already set for

ClientPingCAMPassport=9000

in tm1s.cfg file.

I go through with documentation but no positives yet.

I check through IIS Manager tunder session state settings

1) It is checked next to 'In Progress'

2) Cookies Setting

Mode: Use Cookies

Name: asp.net_sessionID

Time Out (in min):20

does change in cookies time out work?

Thanks

dharav,

have you tried chaning this variable in tm1s.cfg (you'll need to restart the tm1 service after changing this)

IdleConnectionTimeOutSeconds=7200

Good Luck

Thank You all. It works now. I figured out that was the timeout setting forthe ideal session on the website of the firm.
