We have a user who enables the TM1P.xla add-in for Excel 2010. The issue we are running into is that when this user opens an Excel spreadsheet that was an attachment in Outlook, they receive a VB Runtime error of "Method 'Onkey' of object'_Application' failed" once the spreadsheet comes up. I pinpointed it to the add-in because when this add-in is disabled he does not receive the error.
The really weird thing is he only receives this error when he opens the spreadsheet from Outlook. If he opens a spreadsheet that is stored locally or on a shared drive, this error does not occur even when the tm1p.xla add-in is enabled.
Any thoughts on what may be happening or how to resolve this? I am at a stand still at this point.
We are running Windows 7
Microsoft Office 2010
Cognos Express 10.2.1 w/Xcelerator
Thank you in advance!

Re: Runtime Error in Excel 2010
A couple of things:
1) Why not just go with the tm1p.xla?
2) Have you tried changing the macro security levels?
Jim.

Jim,
We are going with the tm1p.xla....that is the issue. When it is enabled, the error occurs when opening a spreadsheet that was an attachment within Outlook.
