Action Button not displayed correctly on TM1Web
I am on TM1 9.5.2. My spreadsheets with Action Buttons are not displaying correctly on the TM1Web. The spreadsheets are created in Excel 2007. Action Buttons only appear as boxes which are disabled and we can not click on them. Also the Label of the Action Button is not appearing. See the attached i...

Re: TM1RPTROW() Parameters Question
Thanks guys...it helped, but I have another question at this stage. How do I use/generate the MDX within the TM1RPTROW function. Initially I want to create MDX which will include ALL the members of the dimension. I thought of using the SubsetCreateByMDX function, but that function is only for the TI...

TM1RPTROW() Parameters Question
I have a question realted to the Actove Form/TM1RPTROW() function. In Active Forms, I have noticed that at certain times TM1RPTROW() function looks like following: TM1RPTROW($B$9, "server:dimnesion", "default") while sometimes it has the following: TM1RPTROW($B$9, "server:di...

TM1Web Error - System.EnterpriseServices.dll not found
Hi, I have installed TM1 9.5.2 on Windows XP. TM1 is running fine but TM1Web throws the following error: Compiler Error Message: CS0006: Metadata file 'C:\WINDOWS\assembly\GAC_32\System.EnterpriseServices\2.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\System.EnterpriseServices.dll' could not be found Please see the atta...

Re: Dynamic List of Dimension Elements in Spreadsheet
Create the new range in Excel and use the following in the Refers To box: =OFFSET(Lists!$A$1,0,0,COUNTIF(Lists!$C$1:$J$100,">0"),1). Now you can use data validation in Excel and use the range ValidChoices. It will be a drop-down of only those rows for which a subset member exists. This is...

Re: Dynamic List of Dimension Elements in Spreadsheet
I know others on this site like VBA but my advice to you is don't use it. If you do then you can forget about ever using the report in TM1Web. Thanks Tomok for the suggestion. My goal is to populate a ComboBox and then use the spreadsheet over the TM1Web . I will work on your guidelines and will le...

Re: Dynamic List of Dimension Elements in Spreadsheet
I think Jim has covered this but you could just have surplus index numbers and set the name range for your cell validation of the element names to be dynamic and grow as the non-blank list of members grows. This is quite easy to do with an offset formula. If you want to use VBA you could also use S...

Re: Dynamic List of Dimension Elements in Spreadsheet
Why don'y you just number a column say 1-10. Then use subnm to pull the element for that index and then use the subnm column column as data range???? I don't understand why this doesn't work?? This is exactly what I am doing. But there is a problem with this approach. Lets say if there are 10 eleme...

Dynamic List of Dimension Elements in Spreadsheet
Hi Guys, I am looking for a way by which I can get the list of Dimension elements in the spreadhseet. I have already looked at the SUBNM function but it requires a index number. My problem is how to generate this index dynamically. My spreadsheet looks like this: Index ProductDim 1 Apple 2 Orange 3 ...

Re: Prevent error on duplicate alias names - TI Process
In the TI Process if we use RECREATE instead of using UPDATE then I think we will not have to worry about this situation.
Is there any harm in using the recreate option?

Re: Intercube Feeder causing Server crash
Not exactly - you posted the rule _for_ FTE. My challenge is to what you are doing with the FTE in the destination cube - do you need to feed it? Hi David, As mentioned before I have disabled all the other Rules so the only Rule in the Target cube is: ['Percent'] = N: DB('Souce_Cube', 'Total Depart...

Re: Intercube Feeder causing Server crash
As has been explained to you already, you are still feeding total union, total job and total grade. You don't need to do this nor should you. If you don't already have attributes in your employee dimension for union, job, grade, department, position, etc. etc. then CREATE THEM as these dimensions a...

Re: Intercube Feeder causing Server crash
Thanks guys for your time but I am still scratching my head to understand this (sorry). I change the Feeder as follows but still its causing the same memory issue: ['FTE'] => DB('Target_Cube', !Position, 'Total Union', 'Total Grade', 'Total Job', !Period, !Scenario, !Employee, 'Percent'); Size of Ta...

Intercube Feeder causing Server crash
I am trying to write a Intercube Feeder and it is causing the Server crash - server RAM goes from 2Gb to 30Gb and then it crashes. I think that I am missing something but not sure what it is. My Source cube and Traget cubes have got some dissimilar dimensions. Rule in the Target cube looks like: ['P...

Thanks Alan!Alan Kirk wrote: I'm assuming that this is in Cube Viewer rather than Web or Excel.
I should have mentioned it before. I am having this problem in the Cube Viewer.
Now I am wondering aside from letter C are there any other letters which I should be worried about?

Entering 'C' in a String cell initiate Clear Operation Msg
Hi, I have an Element of String type. This element will hold the alphabet values from A to Z (single character) The problem is that when I try to enter alphabet C into this cell, I get the Clear Operation Message box - which is not really what I want in this case. Any suggestion how the end users wi...

Re: Rule fo cubes with different Dimensions
You haven't said whether you want the rule in cube 1 pulling from cube 2, or a rule in cube 2 pulling from cube 1. However from the tone of it, it seems likely that you want the rule to pull values from cube 1 into cube 2. If that is indeed the case then you'd probably want the sum of all of the de...

Yes Sir, I did search through the forum but as I said that in my example one Employee can belong to multiple Departments and Accounts (there is no one to one realtionship), that is why I think that I can not use the Attributes (ATTRS etc.). Please suggest me some way (preferably using Rules) by whic...

Rule fo cubes with different Dimensions
Hi, I am tying to write a Rule between the cubes with different dimensions. Please see the attached screen shot for the sample cube structure. As you can see in Cube 1 I have Department and Account dimensions which are not present in the Cube 2. Thats why I am problems in writing DB() function. I th...
