Re: Feeders on consolidations

Hello there, Feeders are loaded when the server is started to try and improve performance. The only other way (As you said) to make sure the element is fed is to save the rule. The only way round this I know of is to try and alter your feeder to make sure it is not pointing a consolidation. I tend t...

Re: TM1 with excel 2007

We are using Excel 2003 and 9.1 SP2 U2. We have never had this problem. As Alan stated you may want to move back to Excel 2003. Either that or move up to the latest 9.1 release. I wouldn't however move up to 9.4 yet,

Wenches? I already have one of them and that's enough for me. I think once my wife has got rid of me I will stick to ... There are times when I think that we know far too much about the inner workings of Jim's mind. Far too much. And it's scary. I'm talking "syntax of conditional feeders where...

Hello there, Basically each domain has whats called an active directory. This is domain specific. Within it are whats called "LDAP Conatainers". These containers hold the user information used within direct connection. The people on the same domain as the server will be ok as their details...

I wouldn't bet on that once she has found this forum Jim mate. :D
My wife finding this forum is the least of my worries at the moment. What delights I have in store when I get home is a bigger worry for me right now.

I don't need a cube for that. I just look in the mirror, think of them and check out whether I smile or not. My son = beaming smile, the wife = no longer visable in the mirror as she ground me down too much,

Jim.

Has anybody guessed that I had a good weekend yet??

Wenches? I already have one of them and that's enough for me. I think once my wife has got rid of me I will stick to prostitutes. At least you know how much they cost up front. I have heard this rumour but nothing has been confirmed. For the moment they are putting TM1 under their BI product instead of Power Play. This is not a suprise as PP is bag of those wrenches that Eris loves so much!!!

Web, now there is an up to date technology, one I can't use. My lovely IT department won't install the .net service pack required to run web as it is not part of the standard server build. To get it installed I will have to put together a benefits case etc... am I really that bothered??? No.

Guys,

I experienced something similar after updating a dimension. As it turned out, the update I completed seemed to have put the dimension out. Upon setting the dimensino order to automatic the issue went away. Very strange,
