Re: Compare subsets of 2 dimensions
Thanks a lot to both of you for the quick responses, first approach ('loops') is more or less the one I already had in my mind, when speaking of 'brute force' ;) Using temporary dimensions to compare the subsets is another smart idea, although the locking might be an issue. I am just working on anot...

Compare subsets of 2 dimensions
Hello, in a TI process, I'd like to compare the elements of a subset (ss1) against a subset (ss2) of another dimension aiming at filtering missing elements in ss2. Already tried the mdx 'EXCEPT' function, but this works for subsets of the same dimension only (according to TI error message). Another ...

Re: Server crash after Export to Textdata
I also encountered this annoying issue several times! In my experience, server preferably crashes, when a number of consolidated elements being referred to in several dimensions of the view to be extracted. ibm states, that it still occurs even with HF6, see --> http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview...

Re: 9.5.2 Fix Pack 2 Released, and interim fixes for 9.4.1/9
Hi Andy, thanks for your advice. I've found an IBM note on that issue meanwhile, see http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg27024528 (and for whom it may concern as well). I will have a try on it and hope for the best. Indeed we are running ASP.NET v4, so I see a chance to fix the problem ...

Re: 9.5.2 Fix Pack 2 Released, and interim fixes for 9.4.1/9
Hello, tried to install 9.5.2 FP2 64bit on the server, which - as a result - caused TM1Web to not run any longer due to an IIS error. I was wondering about FP2 being installed directly to a system directory (on C) without 'change dir' option. Unlike 9.5.2 basis installation, which allows to change i...

TM1 9.1 SP4, Bug on Print Report?
Hello, found out recently, that Print Report functionality disregards DBRA formulas to be hardcopied, even though 'Create Snapshot' option is activated. Tried this hardcopy option with other TM1 formulas (DBRW, ELPAR, ELCOMP, SUBNM, DIMIX, DIMNM), which all worked fine - except DBRA. Could anyone co...

Re: skip consolidated values in views
Hello Martin, you've got the point - I want the conso flag being applicable for individual dimensions. The suggestion you made is exactly the way I had used (and still use) as a workaround. As I already have scores of subsets for individual purposes (TM1Explorer / TM1 Web / TI processes), I just wan...

skip consolidated values in views
Hi, I would appreciate to have the 'skip consolidated values' option in the view extract dialog box being selectable for each of the cube's dimensions. In some cases, especially for TI processes, it's rather inflexible to have this option set once for all of the dimensions. While this option setting...

List of where Dims, Views in subset are applied
Hi, I've been searching for functions to well administrate TM1 structures and missed to find an easy way to list where Dims are applied in cubes, Subsets in Views, Views in TI processes etc. Although a list of dims used in a cube can principally be gained by using the TABDIM() function, however, thi...

Re: Usage of DATEVALUE in TM1Web
Thanks a lot for your instant reply. It's been my first inquiry on this platform, and I really appreciate the community's expertise. However, I am still struggling with the problem. I did not manage to set the right format needed in TM1Web so far. It seems that it's not a problem with 'true' date fu...

Usage of DATEVALUE in TM1Web
Hi, I need to calculate the number of days between 2 given dates in a TM1 Websheet. The dates come with a string format, which usually will be handled in Excel (2003) with the DATEVALUE function in order to process numeric calculations. Actually it works fine in the Excel environment, however, in We...
