Re: TM1 9.4 MR1
Just to throw in my 2c....
Recently completed a fairly large corporate upgrade (both Server and silent client installs) - TM1 9.0 to 9.4 MR1 .
A fairly hefty TM1 model - Memory usage went up by only 10% - 15%. We have MaximumCubeLoadThreads set to 0 to conserve as much memory as possible.

Re: Upgrade - TM1 Version selection
FYI -
IBM/Cognos appear to have a fix for 9.4MR1 that 'improves' performance issues across WANs (and possibly LANS) when using any Server Explorer functionality (ie Cube Viewer, Subset Editor,..etc.).

Re: TM1 9.4 - Perspectives/Client - Login Issue
Quick Update: Issue is non-TM1 related, a configuration issue (possibly on the Server or Client PC) - this specific PC is unable to do anything other than ping the server (no access to files on the server, can't remote onto the server) - just to confirm it is machine specific (majority of users don'...

Re: Upgrade - TM1 Version selection
Hi David - TM1 9.0... Can't say I'm a big fan. I'm led to believe the 9.0 series was basically 8.4 but with a new skin and a few tweaks to reporting capabilities. While this isn't necessarily a bad thing (8.4 was IMO the most stable release of all time) there have been improvements in performance an...

Re: TM1 9.4 - Perspectives/Client - Login Issue
Standard Log-in.
Nothing to do with Integrated log-in or LDAP.
Suprising no-one has seen this or has recalled seeing this in past versions - leads me to believe its specific to 9.4.

Re: TM1 9.4 - Perspectives/Client - Login Issue
HI Alan - appreciate the reply.
Ignore the local server - had to amend the screenshot b/c of client confidentiality but I am connecting to a TM1 server on a different dedicated machine.
FYI the issue occurs for 10% of users - the remaining 90% work fine.
