Re: Fun with Logging...
Does anyone know where we can get a list of the different loggers (individual parts we can control)? IBM documentation says to ask Customer Support, but you know how that goes...

Re: CubeSetLogChanges - Best Practices
I think locking the cube before disabling logging will work. I was worried about affecting users' wait times for either read or write. But it's for a short enough amount of time that it would hardly be noticeable.
Thanks for the feedback!

Re: CubeSetLogChanges - Best Practices
Yeah, that's my concern - I definitely use parallel interaction which is why I ask.
So just lock in the process by changing access in }CubeSecurity?

CubeSetLogChanges - Best Practices
I am just getting into disabling cube logging during large TI data loads (never had the guts to do it before). Can anyone offer up the best practices for this? Specifically, I'm looking for advice on how to prevent user transactions from not getting logged while the process is running. Is there some...

Same here. First hotfix did not address the issue either.

Re: TM1 10 Dynamic Subsets in TI Source View
Doesn't that have to do only with the saving of the subsets themselves? And not assigning the subset to a view, which is the problem we're having?
Regardless, I'll give it a try and report back.

Just patched. And unfortunately still having the issue, so it's not resolved in this first Hotfix.

Re: TM1 10 Dynamic Subsets in TI Source View
So the subset and it's view are remaining dynamic, and it's just a GUI bug? Good to know.
I haven't patched yet, but I'll try to today. Honestly, just installed 10.1 for the first time on Monday so I'm just now running into these issues I'm sure everyone else has already experienced.
Thanks!

ClassFactory error in Excel
I have a user who just installed 9.5.1 and is getting the following error upon opening Excel (2007): "System Error &H80040111 (-2147221231). ClassFactory cannot supply requested class". It must be related to the add-in, but no idea why.
Any help?

Re: AsciiOutput Taking Too Long
I thought so, but hoping for a miracle. I guess I'm off to fix some crap feeders.tomok wrote:There isn't, nor has there ever been, at least to my knowledge, a way to tell TM1 "hey don't bother recalculating anything, just give me what you have right now".
Thanks

AsciiOutput Taking Too Long
I have a chore that runs 4 processes that do the following: 1) Export data for 1 year from a forecasting cube (calculated from 10+ other cubes) to a csv file. 2) Export data for 1 year from a forecasting cube containing headcount (calculated from same sources as above) to a csv file. 3) Import data ...
