Re: An interesting point that I found when updating the "Current Version" thread. (PAW and Windows Server 2019)
I too did a quick Non Prod install on a clean Windows Server 2019 yesterday. Installation went surprisingly well (last serious attempt was some 2 years ago and it was horrid - resolving never to touch this "thing" again). My only issue today is getting it now to work with SSL connecting to...

Re: PAW asset migration
Hi fkram We finally figured out how to to get the lifecycle management to work properly on local and successfully migrate content. We have 2 TM1 servers (Non Prod and Prod) and 2 PAW servers (PAW Non Prod and PAW Prod) and running 3 TM1 services (traditional xxx_DEV, xxx_TEST and xxx_PROD). We had a...

Re: IBM PA 2.0.6
... I haven't come access a client with PA Advanced...and can't find any documentation. The only difference in the component list is the license so they'll be some restriction there that needs to be complied with. Hi Rtel With respect to PA Advanced, our licences are PA Advanced. In simple terms, a...

Re: PAW New Install Issue
As wheeler6 has said, PAW is a right royal PITA, at EVERY turn. Whilst TM1 Server can run on Windows 10, I suspect you will have issues with Windows 10 and PAW. I ended up going down the Hyper-V path with Windows Server 2016 Standard VM running on Windows 10 Pro laptop (host). Whilst Windows 2016 St...

PAX Active Form Client Runaway Memory
Hi Thomas, would you mind giving some more detail on the use case for active form client memory runaway? Sure Steve. In PA2 Local there is a known bug in PAX client relating to active forms consuming all available client memory. If you have an active form with more than 1 dimension nested on the ro...

Re: Questions for Code editor (TI/Rule)
Hi jimhung777 There is a workaround, whereby in 10.2.2 or in PA2 Local you can use advanced rule editor with Architect. However, it is not a viable solution for every user. The workaround is by installing Architect client before Office and Perspectives are installed on your client PC. You will also ...

Re: Unable to install the SSL certificate in TM1 10.2.2
Hi,
We stumbled on the ssl issue when upgrading to 10.2.2 Fix Pack 4 in our DEV environment last week.
However FP4 + Interim Fix 9 resolves this issue.

Re: Missing title elements in a view, TM1 9.5 and up
Wim, I came across a similar experience when using HP laptops. It appears that some of the pre-installed HP utilities casused a similar issue. Problem was the HP Protectection tools (HP Protect and HP manager) that were causing the loss of title elements. Remove them and TM1 is happy. :? Cheers Thomas
