Re: Email Alerts with PAW
I believe the only way to return the state of the process is via a master process and getting the state code. A way around this may be to create a generic process to execute desired process and pass the relevant parameters. And map the buttons to the generic process instead. The master parameter may...

Re: Planning Analytics workspace is down
Is there sufficient memory on the server? The installation of new services could have pushed the memory usage up which could cause paw to fail if the memory on the server was already marginal.

Re: PAfE Issue on Win 11
Shot in the dark, but I know tm1 used to have a dependency on Internet explorer for authentication, with Windows 11, this is no longer there... and the old PAW is likely still requiring the legacy method of authentication. I would try exploring option 4 in this link, adding the old paw link https://...

Re: PAfE Issue on Win 11
Personally I would recommend updating PAW, that's a big version difference and perhaps IBM had to implement something on the server side to support Win 11 clients

Check that ports on the new server are unique, the described behaviour sounds like another server is already using those ports

Re: Can not see models list in TM1 Architect
There could be several reasons for the instances not showing, some of which are.. - Firewall (unlikely since other clients could connect) - Incompatible client (architect version differs pa server version possible but do not suspect as it sounds like the other architect versions hadn't been updated)...

Is the install set up to use the IBM certs or self certified certs? If it uses self certified the issue it may be the certificates are missing... Here's a link on it... https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/how-configure-custom-ssl-certificates-planning-analytics-20-and-201 I'm wondering if the tm1api.c...

Re: Drilldown in reports by user
If I've interpreted your message correctly... You could have a cube with the following dimensions: }Clients Accounts Measure... The measure dimension would have a string field say Mayor Accounts selection. The cube could have a picklist allowing the user to confirm their selection by entering Y, fro...

Re: Date calculation not working in Excel due to Windows date format
Do you have a serial number stored as an alias to the date? If you did you could then have pull this serial into the excel report and then perform the further excel calc B2 = A2 + 3 substituting A2 with the new serial number. As an aside, were you aware of a date picker https://community.ibm.com/com...

Re: Recreating Hierarchy by Attribute
This would be the approach I would take - creating my own alternative hierarchy based on attributes without using function CreateHierarchyByAttribute and just use HierarchyDeleteAllElements instead of using HierarchyDestroy before Except I would perform this all in the metadata tab. If the elements ...

Re: PAW How to make View Filters work together
Check out the link below. You could create a cube with two dimensions, one with the }clients dim, the other with elements container size and destination. The container size would have a picklist showing available sizes. The user would make, store their chosen selection (against their userid tm1user ...

Here's a link to another thread on the topic.

The tm1web logs can produce this information such as who accessed what websheet and when. After changing the Log4j properties you'll then need to parse through the file to extract the information you need

Re: Server Connect in Excel
Which excel add-in are you using, the legacy perspectives or newer pafe/pax. If it's pafe/pax then for the addin to be fully functional you'll need to install planning analytics workspace (paw) which I wouldn't recommend attempting to install on your laptop. There's an awful lot of hoops you'd need ...

Re: PAX - Excel calculation based on Dynamic Report (Active Form)
Thank you it helped May be you know another workarounds except offset ? In some places write that it is resource consuming The other question I guess is does sheet1 need be linked to sheet2 like this. I.e. What's stopping sheet1 from also being a dynamic report sharing the same filters as sheet2? T...

Re: PAX - Excel calculation based on Dynamic Report (Active Form)
On dynamic reports the data rows are destroyed upon rebuild, so any direct reference to these rows will be destroyed on rebuild. Hence the links are broken as you are experiencing. One workaround would be to use the offset function were the range start is above the dynamic rows, then when the report...

Re: Help in creating a PAW report
You could create two alternate hierarchies Account Location In your dim1 which has the concatenation of account and location So you had Acc1-loc1 Acc1-loc2 Acc2-loc1 Acc2-loc2 In the account hierarchy you would have Parent: acc1 child: acc1-loc1 Parent: acc1 child: acc1-loc2 Parent: acc2 child: acc2...

Re: consolidating a dynamic subset via the rules file
Rather than looping through the elements in the subset in a ti process and incrementing, you could use the mdx view you already have as the source for the process so the values are already aggregated. To do this solely in rules Cellvaluen may be an option, I believe you can refer to a subset in plac...

Re: Rule to sum all elements except the current?
Reflecting, consolidations is the only way to go. From a performance perspective you're going to need to use consolidations and should you attempt to refer to a consolidation with all leaves it's going to cause a circular reference, alternate hierarchy or not. Other options to using consolidations w...

Re: Rule to sum all elements except the current?
Assuming that element 3 value can just be a calculation and doesn't need to be fed then you could maybe do this ['dim1':'dim1':'Element 3','Value']:N ['Dim 1':'hier','all elements'] - ['dim 1':'hier':'Element 3']; Where you're referring to an alternative hierarchy to pull back all elements and subtr...
