Thanks guys. I wasn't aware that I need to put the feeder in the lookup cube. With your guidelines, I was able to make it work.
I really appreciate it. This exercise helped me in understanding what the feeders really are.
Thank you.

Calculation not correct, need correct feeder
Hi, I have a calculated item in my rule as ['USD Cons','ActBudRate - FY11','9999 Transfer Entity']=N: (DB('lkp_TUI Budgeting 9999','GBP Cons','ActBudRate - FY11',!Period,!Company,!HT)-DB('lkp_TUI Budgeting 9999','GBP Cons','ActActRate - FY11',!Period,!Company,!HT))*DB('Currency Conversion','ActBudRa...

Re: Load data into a cube for all versions
Any reason why you don't load the data into a cube dimensioned by just Time and Measure, then use rules to access this data from the cube by Time, Measure, Versions and Locations? Thanks. Actually today I thought about the same solution, and even tried it and it works well. My only issue is, is thi...

Re: Load data into a cube for all versions
Thanks for the code. What I am trying to achieve is loading some data to a cube that has more dimension than the data set has. Data has two dimensions and value, such as Time Measure Value ------- ------------ --------- Feb 2010 Billing Days 21 Mar 2010 Billing Days 22 etc. My cube though has 4 dime...

Re: Load data into a cube for all versions
Hi. CellPutN is as follows: CellPutN( value, CubeName, Element of Dim1, Element of Dim2, Element of Dim2 etc) Assuming BILLDAYS is in your variables tab and is numeric you'd need something like this: CellPutN(BILLDAYS,'Planning',vNumber,vPeriod,'Actual'); CellPutN(BILLDAYS,'Planning',vNumber,vPerio...

Load data into a cube for all versions
I am creating a TI process from an ODBC to load data into a cube which has a version dimension. I want to load this data to all versions available in the cube. I think I need to create a variable for placeholder for version dimension, but I could not figure out what the formula for this variable sho...

Re: Web Problems again
I am having exactly the same problem. Any solutions yet?
I have a TM1 server and a BI server which is used as the web server. I am suspecting it might be related to the distributed environment. Any thoughts?

Re: Prevent contributor users from creating views
Thanks a lot lotsaram . It is always good to get an expert's view like yourself. I was quite a bit frustrated with the fact that when a contributor users changes the default view, they see the new layout and view next time they launch the app. Deleting the .vue files in the user's folder was a brill...

Prevent contributor users from creating views
Hi, We are deploying TM1 9.5 with contributor and one thing I noticed is, when contributor users launch the application, as soon as they change the default view, next time they login they see the new view they created. Instead, I would like them to see the default views that we create for them when ...

Re: Metric Studio and tm1 cube
Metric Studio does not process data cubes like the other studios. This is a studio, where you monitor scorecards that are created by Metrics Designer. Therefore, you don;t need to worry about your environment. It is totally a different application.

Creating a dynamic YTD months subset
Hi, I have a time dimension which looks like below and I have a cube which holds Current YTD value (Feb 2010 YTD in this case). Using this cube I want to create a subset including only the YTD months (in this case it will be only Jan 2010 and Feb 2010). Any ideas would be really appreciated? What ki...

Re: Performing YTD and other relative time calculations in TM1
Please see the attached screen-shot of the sample Period dimension. Hope this helps~! Rizwan, thanks for the screen shot. in this picture, is YTD2002 a sum of YTD200201, YTD200202, ...? If yes, then doesn't it have 200201 more than one time? I think where I am struggling is more on the reporting si...

Re: Performing YTD and other relative time calculations in TM1
You should create another hierarchy reflecting the YTD roll up you would like and then reference them into a report or view. I'd really appreciate it if you gave little bit more details. When you say alternate hierarchy. do you mean within the same dimension? If yes, what should be my calculations?...

Performing YTD and other relative time calculations in TM1
Hi, I am new to TM1 and looking for a solution to handle relative time dimensions in the cubes. I searched the whole forum, and it seems like there is a lot of good information about the topic, but for a person new to the tool ,it was not easy to understand the conversations clearly. I am trying to ...
