Ty,
I hope you've had the user clear their browser cache and delete their history. I know it sounds basic but sometimes we forget to try these steps.

Re: Scheduled Reports
Workarounds: There are several different possible workarounds: Remember, these are possible workarounds. The best solution is to use Excel 2013. I had used Method #1 in a prior role and that resolved it in Excel 2007. If you can't upgrade the existing server, Run it from the replicated environment

Re: Scheduled Reports
Sounds like you are hitting everything correctly. When you launch Excel do you have Perspective launch without any macro messages and see the IBM splash screen? I am assuming you have perspectives added as a addin to Excel and macro security is se to low. Have you gone into the Excel trust center se...

Re: Dimension Element with Null Value
Lee,
Another approach would be to use the nvl funcion in sql to populate the nulls with you default element to eliminate any evaluations in Ti. ie NVL(FieldName, 'Not Available')

DBSS Not functioning in TM1Web 10.2

The target cell is changing color after recalc but the data is not being set to the cube nor is it displaying in the dbss. Is anyone else experiencing this? Any work arounds k...

Re: Rename TM1 admin host
Here's a suggestion: Use QA & Dev as a prefix to the TM1 server name. All will be available when you list multiple hosts as the admin host. You will just need to add a find and replace to your migration process for templates and reports. You can move TM1 objects (*.pro, *.cub, etc.....) between ...

Re: A rules question
It does... here are the dimensions of both cubes: http://www.axenda.com/images/personal/ruleerror2.png As you can see, the other dimensions are identical. Mike Mike, Within the DB section you need to use the dimension names that are in the target cube. ['Quantity'] = n: DB('RuleTest1', !Quantity, !...

Re: Fixpack 2 install
IBM was nice enough to provide a brief installation guide with FP1. In the abcense of a FP2 guide I would refer to the previous guide keeping in mind that you would need to have FP1 installed first and then install FP2. - TITLE: Cognos TM1 9.5.2 Fix Pack 2 - URL: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.w...

Re: executecommand() with batch files
Cam I think what you need to do is forget about TM1 until the batch files works when executing manually outside of TM1, once you are confident it works then try executing it from TM1, otherwise it can be too hard to see what is going on, if it works outside tm1 but not inside tm1 it immediately nar...
