Hi Kamil,
have updated my rule with your code and this appears to work!
So big thanks for that.
Just wish I had thought of it!
regards, Mark

Re: Roll up in subset using MDX query
I guess if you want the formula in the same column as the values, so on the active form you see the total directly above the values then one option would be to insert a row above TM1RPTROW and in the relevant cell put in something like: =IF($G$25="",0,SUM(OFFSET($G$25,,,COUNT($G:$G)))) whe...

Re: Roll up in subset using MDX query
Not sure why you say since its an active form I cannot keep an excel sum to do the sum of selected items. I have done this on occasions by using MDX on the TM1RPTROW to return the required rows and then using excel sum to sum the entire relevant column, so something like =SUM($G:$G) on the active fo...

Just for my benefit why weren't the numeric values being populated?

Re: Numeric values not copying from source to target elaments
Thanks for the responses and the advice. I will leave unfed because as things stand I don't need to feed it and everything appears to be working correctly!
I will bold this in the design document

Re: Numeric values not copying from source to target elaments
You are spot on Tomok, these cells are not fed. I did actually suspect this myself (honest). Now you may start ranting at me when I say this but because I don't actually need Grade Standard Hours to be fed (because it doesn't need to be consolidated) I ignored it when writing the feeders. Is this ba...

Re: Numeric values not copying from source to target elaments
I am posting this here because it may be related to aravind's problem. I have an issue which is outlined in the attached document. This problem came to light when I tried to run a process to copy values from one cube to another. Everything worked OK, both string and numeric values copied over except...

Re: Updating rules using a TI process
Thanks for the reply.
We are currently undergoing user testing and while this is going on I am updating my documentation and looking at where I can improve the model.
I will look at your solution once this testing is over and update the thread.

Updating rules using a TI process
Hi, I am building an employee budget setting model in TM1 10.1.1 and am trying to make my dimension updates as dynamic as possible. One of the dimensions, Pay Scales, includes a picklist cube which allows users to pick a Scale Code, for example, teachers and then return only the grades within that g...

Re: TM1 Go to Another Websheet
Apologies for the delay in replying. I had assumed that because my question was on hold until the admin had verified it I would receive email notification if my post was accepted! So I assumed it hadn't been accepted! On the off chance I had a look and here it is! Anyway, I will look into your sugge...

TM1 Go to Another Websheet
Hi all, I am using TM1 10.1.1 I am building a staff budget setting model in TM1 and am building the end user views via websheets (active forms). When moving from one websheet to another I have set it so the calculations are none, both when moving from and to a websheet. I.e. in the action button I s...
