Re: Best Azure VM Type for Planning Analytics
Hi, I was told by my IBM representative that I was still required to install ILMT to monitor my installation on a cloud service. I was also sent that very same link as Mike posted. Basically everything under "Licensing requirements and conditions" means that I still have to install that ho...

Re: DBRW will not retrieve data for parent account not in subset.
Hi,
That solved it. Created another view using the VIEW-formula and referenced that one in the DBRW.
Thanks for your help. I always forget the strange ins and outs with these formulas and their requirements.

DBRW will not retrieve data for parent account not in subset.
Hi all, I have a problem that I don't think I've come across before. A websheet contains a DBRW formula: DBRW($B$11;Organization;Market;$D37;Measure) The TM1RPTView (B11) formula like this: TM1RPTVIEW("Server:Cube:1"; 0; TM1RPTTITLE("Server:Organization";$F$32); TM1RPTTITLE("...

I for one use PM for all my rules and dimension editing. But my old mentors were always laughing at me.
As for setting Time and Measure. If you highlight a cube. You can set the time and measure in the properties window (on the bottom) for that cube.

What exactly do you want to do?
The last row changes constantly. Do you want to e-mail every new last row?

Re: Feeder problem in allocation model
The allocation cube has the account dimension in it. Id rather not feed all the accounts.
Cube 1: AllocationCalcCube
Dimensions: Account, Period, Country, ProfitCenter, Measure
Cube 2: AllocationKeyCube
Dimensions: Period, Country, ProfitCenter, Measure

Feeder problem in allocation model
Hi all, We have this allocation model that was built a while ago. Since I have some spare time I decided to do a small review of this model. There are massive amounts of overfeeding in this cube which bothers me. But I cant really think of a good way to get around it. Basically we have 2 cubes. The ...

Re: TM1 Process Redesigning
It sounds like the problem is the amount of buttons... not the amount of processes. So just create one button that triggers the processes of all the other buttons.
I think thats as much help as this forum can give you.

Re: Feeder performance - Which is better to feed from?
Thanks for the replies. I like the principal of the feeding from the original driver of the calculation. In this particular case it is the Headcount. The other variables would be different percentages and stuff... I didn't want to write everything out to make it a bit more clear. The readability thi...

Feeder performance - Which is better to feed from?
Hi, Lets say we have the following rules: = N: [Headcount] * [A] ; [D] = N: * [C] ; When feeding [D]. Would you feed from or from [Headcount] and why? Is there any effect on performance in feeding from a value not part of the rule? Guess Im looking for some best practice. Personally I put [Headcount...

Re: TM1 servers not listed in tm1web & pmpsvc
Do you get anything when you go to http://localhost:9510/pmpsvc/ ??? If so, have you added the admin host and server to the TM1 Application Config? Go to: http://localhost:9510/pmpsvc/ Click the tools in the upper right corner. (Administer TM1 Applications) Then click add on under "server names...

I dont know why. But I always set it to max - 1. So if you have 4 threads, I set it to 3.
This way there are always some resources available for other system things.

Re: IBM Planning Analytics On Prem
Its funny how IBM screwed all their current clients over by having us pay twice for PAW. Then they also screw up so we need more servers to run the thing. By doing so they also gave themselves legacy problems so they screwed themselves as well! But the new SAP Business Objects for Planning looks rea...

Need to get me some new servers so I can try this one out. Really looking forward to checking out the new "TI-Debugger". But maybe it didn't make it into this release.
