Excel Formula to Read Only Cube Data
I am aware of DBR and DBRW formulas by which you can both Read and Write data (2 way) into the cubes. Is there a Formula in TM1 by which you can only Read the data from the cubes (1 way) and can not update/change the cube data from the spreadsheet. Please let me know if such Spreadsheet formula exis...

Re: Best Practice to change Negative numbers to Positive
Can you please explain your methodology? A sample rule will help.
If we can convert the sign using the Attribiute Formatting then it will be a lot easier, but not sure how can we do it.

Re: Problem building Dimension (Hierarchies)
I have recreated the dimension by concatenating the Column names e.g. for SubDept it is now Dept.SubDept and for DeptFunc it is now Dept.SubDept.DeptFunc There are some DeptFunc codes which are found under multiple SubDept, and because of that the hierarchies/Alias are not built-up correctly. See th...

Problem building Dimension (Hierarchies)
I am trying to build a dimension based on the sample data in the XLS file which is attached here. The dimension hierarchy should roll-up like this: Dept -> SubDept -> DeptFunc and the Description should be the Alias The problem is that in order to define the hierarchy in the database in the source d...

You mean I need to run the Workflow Setup again for the each DB I am using? Does that mean that I can use Workflow for only one TM1 server/DB at a time?
Please confirm

TM1 Workflow starting point
I am new to Workflow and I need to ask a very basic question about it. TM1 manual is not very helpful. I am not sure whats the starting point to create a Workflow. I can not access the Workflow Admin Console when I am connected to my database. It gives me error: "planning sample No TM1 database...

Performace Monitor - }Time Intervals Dimension
I have question regarding the Performance Monitor. All performance monitoring control cubes use the }Time Intervals control dimension. My understanding says that this dimension only stores data for only past 24 hours. After that it starts overwriting the values. Does this means that we can not monit...

I have got that working and now getting the Distinct Counts within the rule (without using any lookup cube). SKIPCHECK; ['All Customers','Count'] = ConsolidateChildren('Customer'); ['Count']=IF((['Sales'])>0 & ELLEV('Customer',!Customer)=0,1,STET); FEEDERS; ['Sales' ]=> ['Count']; Thanks everyon...

Re: Getting DISTINCT Count using Rules

I want to see how many DISTINCT customer has done transactions i.e if a customer has made multiple transactions my Count should only show 1. I have added the following rule which gives me the correct DISTINCT...

Getting DISTINCT Count using Rules
I have many dimensions in my cube like Customer, Region, Products, Period, Measures etc. I want to get the count of the customers who have bought a certain product. I have added a measure 'Count' and have added this rule ['Count']=N:IF(['Sales']>0,1,STET); where 'Sales' is a measure. This gives me t...

I actually want to load the data on monthly basis, that is why I don't want to add multiple CellPutN() in my Data tab.
Is there any other suggestion or something which I can do using the Parameters?

My ODBC data contains data in different columns e.g: Jan_Sales Feb_Sales Mar_Sales 100 500 650 I want to pass the DB Field name as a Parameter in my TI Process so that I don't have to write many processes for each month or to run the same process by making changes in each time. Can I create a parame...
